Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal data SiVideoGen (sivideogen.com) collects, how we use it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run an AI video generator and to get paid for it, and we describe below exactly what happens to your prompts, images and videos.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name, profile picture and Google account identifier.
- Content: the prompts you write, the images you upload for image-to-video, and the videos generated for you.
- Usage and billing records: which models you used, the settings and cost of each generation, your credit balance and history, and records of purchases (product, amount, date). Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, approximate country, browser type and timestamps, kept in security and request logs and used for fraud prevention and rate limiting.
- Analytics: page and event statistics from a self-hosted Umami instance (details below). It sets no cookies and is not used for advertising.
What happens when you generate a video
- Your prompt is checked by an automated content filter that runs on Cloudflare’s AI platform. Only the prompt text is checked.
- If it passes, the prompt and any image you uploaded are sent to fal.ai, which runs the model you chose (from providers such as Google, Kuaishou, ByteDance, Alibaba, MiniMax and xAI) to render the clip.
- The finished video is copied into our own storage so that it stays available in your library after the provider’s temporary link expires.
- We keep a record of the job: model, settings, credit cost, timing, and an error message if it failed. These records are how we refund failed generations and answer support questions.
How we use your data
- to create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
- to generate your videos, store them in your library and let you download them;
- to process payments, add credits and handle refunds and support requests;
- to detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service and keep the service available;
- to understand which features are used so we can improve the product.
We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, we do not use your prompts, images or videos to train AI models, and we do not publish your content.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, files or any biometric data. Google sign-in asks only for your basic profile and email address; we never get access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google services. We do not buy data about you from third parties.
Automated decisions
The content filter that checks prompts is automated, and it can decline a prompt without a person reviewing it. A declined prompt costs nothing. If you believe a prompt was blocked by mistake, write to us and a person will look at it. We make no other automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Emails we send
We send sign-in links you request and messages about your account or purchases. Payment receipts come from Stripe. We do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, and we never sell or rent email addresses.
Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (your account, generations, credits and purchases); for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and understanding usage; to meet legal obligations such as keeping tax and accounting records; and with your consent where the law requires it.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage, email delivery and automated prompt moderation.
- fal.ai and the model providers it routes to — they receive your prompt and any uploaded image only to render the video you asked for, under their own privacy terms.
- Stripe — payment processing, through our payment gateway.
- Google — sign-in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Each publishes its own privacy and security commitments, including terms for international data transfers.
Analytics
We run our own copy of Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, and send it page views and a few product events (for example “video started” or “checkout opened”). It records the page, referrer, browser, device type and country. Your IP address is used to derive the country and an anonymous session identifier and is not stored in raw form. No analytics cookies are set.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie, sid, which keeps you signed in for up to 60 days. Google sets its own cookies when you use Google sign-in, and Stripe does so on its checkout page. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Account data and credit history: while your account exists.
- Generated videos: until you delete them in My videos or delete your account. Deleting a video removes the file from our storage.
- Uploaded reference images: 30 days, then they are deleted automatically.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion.
- Sessions: up to 60 days. Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes and are purged after a day.
Deleting your account
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your videos and uploaded images from storage, end all sessions, and replace your email address and profile details with an anonymous placeholder within 30 days. Purchase and credit records are kept only in that anonymized form, for accounting.
Privacy and security
All traffic uses HTTPS. We store only one-way hashes of session tokens and sign-in links, so a copy of our database would not let anyone sign in as you. Payment card data never touches our servers. Administrative access is limited and protected by long random credentials.
Your privacy rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and content by emailingsupport@sivideogen.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your data protection authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
The service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has used it, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this privacy policy
We will update this privacy policy when our practices change and note the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell signed-in users on the site or by email. Questions or requests: support@sivideogen.com.
